A super visa application asks for private medical insurance from a Canadian insurer, with a stated minimum coverage amount and a term that covers the stay. We place visitors plans that are written for that purpose. Confirm the current IRCC requirements before you buy, because those rules change.

Request emergency medical coverage for visitors, work/study visa holders, or people in Canada who are not covered by a provincial health plan. An advisor will confirm rates after the medical questionnaire.
Eligibility (confirm before requesting a quote)
- At least 15 days old and under 90 (under 70 for some premium plans)
- Visitor, work/study visa, or immigrant not eligible for provincial health benefits
- Not travelling against a physician’s advice or with a terminal illness
- No new undiagnosed symptoms or known need for medical attention
- Does not require assistance with daily living activities
